Ania Mortier was born and raised in Vermont. During her 30 years she has traveled the world and studied many disciplines. In 2002 she earned her certification in Massage Therapy and Holistic Health Education from the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, California. From there she went on to establish her private practice, which she maintained during her travels to places such as Hawaii and Alaska. In 2004 she found herself back in Vermont and enrolled in the Nutrition Food Science program at the University of Vermont and in May of 2007 she received her Bachelor of Science degree. In conjunction with her business, Ania is working at Fletcher Allen Health Care’s primary care internal medicine department as a medical assistant and, in the future, hopes to continue her studies to become a nurse practitioner. Currently she is also in the process of establishing her certification as a postpartum doula. Ania strives to utilize her knowledge in the sciences and her understanding of alternative health practices to offer a pathway to attain and maintain balanced health. She lives with her husband Colin and their furry feline friend, Coco, in Burlington, Vermont.
